Family Dinner VolunteerS

Each Tuesday evening at 5:00 p.m. LRCC hosts a family dinner generally serving approximately 20-25 meals to individuals that visit the Lighthouse and their families. Family dinners increase social bonding, feelings of wellbeing and enhances a sense of contentedness and community. Family dinner also has increasing importance for individuals and families struggling to make ends meet. Volunteers are needed for meal preparation and clean up. Volunteers can also provide the entire meal (food) if they choose, prepped on or off site. Family dinners are served buffet style, with volunteers enjoying the meal along with everyone. You can volunteer as often as fits your schedule.
